OFFICE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IN EFFECT DURING THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS 

Effective, February 1, 2021 and until further notice, Grey Street Counseling and Wellness Center (GSC) is taking the following precautions to protect our clients and help slow the spread of COVID-19. 
 

• GSC completed a thorough COVID-19 disinfecting process with help from a third-party licensed cleaning vendor prior to opening for in-person therapeutic services. 

• GSC’s lobby will be limited in capacity to follow proper safe distancing precautions. 

• Office seating in GSC’s therapy rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing.   

• GSC staff, providers, and clients wear masks in common areas and hallways.  

• GSC staff, providers, and clients maintain safe physical distancing. 

• GSC staff and providers complete daily symptom tracking and clearance prior to accessing the building or conducting in-person appointments. 

• Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and accessible to clients. Everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.   

• Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in several locations throughout GSC’s suite. 

• GSC schedules appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in GSC’s suite at any given time.  The staggering appointment times allow for minimal contact with other people in hallways and common areas. 

• GSC asks all clients to wait in their cars or outside the building until no earlier than 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment times.  

• Touch points such as door handles, light switches, pens, and other areas that are commonly accessed are thoroughly sanitized after each use. 

• Physical contact is not permitted. 

• Tissues and trash bins are easily accessible. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis. 

• Common areas are thoroughly disinfected on a daily basis. 

• GSC’s suite is cleaned regularly using COVID-19 disinfectant to ensure additional disinfecting occurs.
