More about me:
I enjoy providing counseling services to late adolescents, adults and couples. My passion is in helping people reach their full potential, facing challenges with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, life adjustments, and other emotional distress. Integrating a wide range of therapeutic approaches in a safe and non-judgmental environment, I encourage clients to be open and collaborative with their goals. Also, holding a Master of Arts in Education from Michigan State University and teaching high school for sixteen years has allowed me to develop a unique expertise in working with young adults.

My approach with clients is empathetic and person-centered, focusing on each individuals' strengths to guide their goals. I enjoy navigating a deeper understanding of a clients' formative years, assessing impact and underlying factors within emotional distress and behavioral choices. This process often reveals negative thinking patterns, and I firmly believe everyone can make changes to improve their quality of life and fulfill their goals.

In addition to teaching experience, I am a certified firefighter and this experience allows me to be able to provide an understanding and aware environment in counseling first responders and their families.
